The Friends of the Seaside Library is a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of California with its principal address at 550 Harcourt Avenue, Seaside, California 93955, and is tax-exempt under Federal law, section 501(c)(3), of the Internal Revenue Code. Our ID number is: 94-2682659.
You may make undesignated gifts and/or bequests or specify a particular use for your gifts and/or bequests. Please see our Donated Book Program page on ways to donate books, DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes.
If you are an online shopper, we want you to be aware that Amazon now has a parallel portal that offers the same products at the same prices, and allows patrons to designate a charitable organization to which Amazon will donate .5% of the price of your eligible purchases. It's called AmazonSmile.
Just go to https://smile.amazon.com and then follow the instructions. You will find "Friends of the Gordon R Forrest Memorial Library" in the database of charitable organizations. That is our legal name. (Not to be confused with the library Friends in Seaside, Oregon!) Once you are set up, it's easy to use. Donations will be automatic on each eligible purchase when you log on using smile.amazon.com.
